Vacation Over
Now that Christmas and New Years have come and gone, getting back to the work grind begins tomorrow. While I did enjoy the freedom of the last week and a half (and the trip to Texas), it will be nice to get back into the routine and start working on my goals.
Things start to get real this week. I’ll establish a routine for support now that my staff will have regular schedules; in addition to paving the way on several projects on the table. In short, I’ll be DWS (Do Work Son).
Oh the weather outside is weather

While the roads were visible in Kalamazoo over the holiday break, it was a different story elsewhere in Michigan.
Everyone talks about a white winter, but I think they will be asking for a little less white in 2009. Over the past week, several winter storms have bombarded the area, making it impossible to travel for several days. Fortunatly for me, I was able to travel back safely to my parent’s house in Whitehall, where the scene was far different from that of Kalamazoo. Snow back home had fallen so much that it was hip high in the back yard. I watched in humor as my pup Keifer would try to walk ontop of the snow only to sink well below the top multiple times.
As for Christmas I received some very useful items to help me along now that I’m a career man and plan on doing some traveling in my spare time, as well as some things more for entertainment. I hope everyone else’s holiday was marked by some joyous occassion.
